Caruso Traded to Thunder for Giddey

One-for-One Deal Reported by Wojnarowski

Caruso's Impressive Stats

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma - The Oklahoma City Thunder have reportedly traded guard Josh Giddey to the Chicago Bulls for guard Alex Caruso, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal was completed on June 20, 2024, at 2:27 PM.

Giddey, selected with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, has shown promise in his short NBA career. In his rookie season, he averaged 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game. His impressive stats and leadership skills have earned him a reputation as a rising star in the league.

Caruso, on the other hand, is a 3-and-D player known for his defensive abilities and 3-point shooting. In the 2022-23 season, he averaged 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 38.1% from beyond the arc. His versatility and playoff experience make him a valuable addition to the Thunder's young roster.

The trade between the Bulls and Thunder is expected to be officially announced later this week.
